Can you imagine the internet without Wikipedia? Neither can we! So why not join us to celebrate its 16th birthday with a party organised by the  Wikimedia Poland association and Medialab Katowice, during which we will jointly create and update entries on the history and urban development of Katowice’s Kościuszko Street.

Armed with books, photographs and other materials from the City Hall Archives and joined by historians and experienced Wikipedians, we will have all the tools and support to create content that will feed into the future map of Katowice buildings and the network project on Kosciuszko Street, which is currently carried out by a Medialab workgroup.

All are welcome – whether you are willing to try your hand at editing Wikipedia entries, or just want to meet with Wikipedians for a chat about the world’s largest online encyclopaedia and have a slice of the birthday cake!
